Hello fuckers,

It's been a while since my last news post, but I am a goddamned busy motherfucker.

I forgot to post here, that my band has recorded and released a new album.

"The Stars of Fiction",  is the name of my band.  My only task there, is singer.  We released our 5 song album called " 7 ", in April and I forgot to post it here.

We do have an account on newgrounds, but currently are selling our stuff, so cannot upload here.  But your support has always meant so much to me.

7 was recorded and mastered at Fader Mountain Sound, in Vancouver, British Columbia!!  Really awesome recording experience and the sound is pretty deadly.

Here is a link to where you can get our stuff on Bandcamp, which also has our last album as well.

As always, Newgrounds, I thank you for your continued support and hope you dig our album.  It is different than my Bad Man Incorporated stuff.  It gets lots of radio play on our local rock radio station.  We are the heavier side of that.

Here is a preview:

Well now you can finally watch it!!

Hope you guys all dig it.

Had selected theatrical release in the states, multiple festival rounds and is fucking kicking ass in the reviews!  Including the LA TIMES!

That's right, Newgrounders!  We, at www.wecamefromthebasement.com, are taking our show back on the radio. Campus radio, sure, but nonetheless radio. http://www.thex.ca/home.php.   Your tunes get logged and submitted to CTRC, the episode will also be posted on our website.  Our website receives about 10 million views per year!  Attracts the attention of movie moguls, especially when we interview actors, directors, etc....  But I want to do anything I can to help aspiring musicians get exposure.  I WANT TO EXPOSE YOU!

Please link in the comments, to any songs you want played and how you would like to receive described credit!

Any genre!

If we select your song, I will PM you the details of when it goes live on the station and when we will post it on our site!

Thanks newgrounds!

I've been shirking my duties from Newgrounds lately...but....for those that don't know, I'm scoring my first movie and we're ALMOST there!! Man, has it been surreal! I can't wait to complete it!!   It was a HUGE gear switch, for me and my music creation, but...yeah.  Here is an update on the movie from Dread Central:

Hey Newgrounds!
So I've been talking about being able to score a movie, recently and have worked on 2 films, so far.

It's most excellent to finally able to release the "TEASER" trailer ( which doesn't reveal much), but yeah.  Happy to push some love for my buddy John Fallon, who's directorial debut is this flick. Starring Michael Pare! I also did the music for this teaser. :)  Enjoy, The Shelter

Plot: On a star filled night, widower and homeless man Thomas (Michael Pare) finds shelter for the night when he falls upon a vast two story house with the lights on and an inviting open front door. He strolls on in thinking he just caught a lucky break and for a while, it would appear as though he did. Inside, with nobody in sight, he finds all of the comforts that he used to have. After taking a bath, feasting wholeheartedly on some food and relishing the silliness on the tube, he gets some well-earned shut eye. All is well until a restless Thomas wakes up in a panic and finds a loaded revolver resting on his lap. Baffled, he picks up the weapon, checks the barrel and notes that it is fully loaded. A visceral sense of unease invades him immediately. Something is very wrong and he decides that it is time to leave. Alas he finds out swiftly that the premises won't let him depart so quickly. The doors are all locked, and the windows puzzlingly cannot be opened or broken. Destiny has brought Thomas to this place. Will he survive the ordeal?

Written and Directed by: John Fallon

There is something I'd like to say to all the awesome musicians and music lovers on newgrounds. Thank You.

Your constant support and feedback has brought me to a great place in my life, musically.  Where most of you know me as a metalhead, I have another side. I have talked about scoring movies in the past and due to extenuating circumstances, out of my control, I just ended up providing a few songs for the flick.  (Which is still AWESOME). Today my good friend and director/writer/actor announced this on his blog: http://www.john-fallon.com/?p=2650

So there is a bit of personal information there, but I don't think I can really separate from that, anymore.  haha.

Anyways, this particular path I'm on is only because I hit up newgrounds, in 2005.  Newgrounds provided me with the opportunity to share and grow as a musician.  Without Newgrounds and the friends and connections I've made here, I likely would have kept my guitar in a closet, forever.  From the bottom of my darkest pit of a heart... Thank you, motherfuckers! \m/
