i actually got the idea of this, from when i was playing at guitarmageadon a few years back, i used the same drum beat and general idea from one of the backing tracks.

Pretty cool man. The beginning was really intense. Riffs were pretty cool. Drums sounded awesome and cut through the mix really well, however, all your songs are nicely mastered. A feat I still struggle with, every FUCKING day! haha

Awesome riffage! Great song. I've always liked your use synths...man that kicks ass...
Vocals were good...mixed in well. Was that the doubled over tracks? Sounded cool. The vocals could have been deeper..

Hey man, thanks! Yes, the vocals were overdubbed once. There were no effects on them though. On the first mix we were going to put a little delay on some parts, but we chose not to. The vocals almost sound distorted to some points, but that's just him. However they couldn't have been deeper since my friend is only 15 and is still pretty short. He did his best though, and once he grows a bit more, I am sure his voice will deepen for it.
Hopefully my use of synths will get better though, I didn't put much of them in there because I wanted the song to stay pretty heavy, which was hard while using a standard tuned guitar. As for that gift... can't wait ^_^
