I produce loops, drum beats, etc on Reason 3.0 by Propellerhead software, and I record any accoustic tracks using ProTools LE 5.0 through my MBox. I only own one microphone so I have to record each track separately. For this song I actually played all of it on my roland keyboard (it's a 7/8 melody Ive had in my head for a long time). Reason has some seriously bad ass quality synths and samplers, which is the guitar and drumset you hear in this song... I think it would be pretty easy to play on guitar if I dropped D but my ibanez rg320 has no strings onit at the moment and my Marshall has a blown fuse. Glad you like it!

Some kick ass riffs! Very slayerish sounding. The clarity isn't awesome...but you said you are learning..and we all have our clarity issues ;) Hope to hear this one expanded on!

What were you using to achieve the effects? Sounded real cool! I'd use this in a flash, for a real calm like phsyco killer on a killing spree. Its too bad my flash animation sucks. (Mostly due to time constraints.)

That is a Rather straightforward combo.
I just directly connected my guitar to my multitrack recorder (tascam makes it, its pretty sweet), and set it to an effect with tons of delay and chorus effects.. it was just some good fun messing around with it..
heh, i dont see this being anything in a flash, way too sloppy... but maybe when its revised that'd be cool...

The clarity was allright, I think you would be fine if you had a better mixing program. I use cool edit pro 2.1 and find that I have barely scraped the surface of what it can really do. I swear by plugging straight into my mic jack. You can get an adapter for your guitar jack, going in mono-it switches to stereo...and with no amp or pedal fuzz. Plus most mixing programs can eliminate the fuzz. At least that is what works for me. Lots of guys use a line 6 guitar port. For me, the ladder was more cost efficient.
I can emmulate way more sounds too.
