Had me headbangin. The drums were a little weak, the guitar kicked ass...sweet riffs! I loved the beginning too, and the chainsaw!!yeah. Could do without the effects.(flanging or whatever) Otherwise awesome tune, look forward to more!

The drums aren't that great because we used a DigiTech pedal with a built in drum machine.

I noticed there was a little too much flanger too, but didn't feel like removing it after I got finished lol.

It's awesome that you noticed the chainsaw. When my girlfriend heard it she was like "Is that a motorcycle?" lol... Anyway. There will be more soon.

Man, this song is awesome! Just gives a great feeling of abandonment. I think the title really describes the content. Although, I'm fairly certain, that is why you chose that title. So otherwise, this tune is now on my playlist.

yeah, it's kinda repetetive, but I like it. The samples are from a kid who was sad about being dumped by his girlfriend... he was drunk... and he was trying to set himself on fire. We were working on a no-budget horror movie at the time so we had some water in a gas can... so I poured that on him and he was trying to light himself... we got it all on camera... priceless. We were all egging him on.

thanks dude. I spent hours and hours tweaking the drums to make them sound the way I wanted. I kinda was learning as I went so, ya... I know the sound quality is bad and all my stuff always has a hiss to it, I think I need to get a better sound card (gonna pick up a Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum EX or audigy 4 if I can find a good deal). All my stuff is done with really shitty equipment and between working full time and all the other shit I have going on... thanks for liking it.

sweet. I really don't have any idea what I'm going to do for the lyrics and all that... I'm working on a bassline in Fruity Loops if I can make it not sound too fake, or I'll pick up a bass at a pawn shop or ebay when I get a paycheck.
