Ideas.

The ideas here are pretty good, actually. I think you should develop this and keep on this one. Get it smooth, and leave the drums out.
It has a dark feel and if you worked a bit more on it, it would kick a lot of ass. If you ever decide to re work this, send me a pm. I'd be interested to see what direction it goes. So much potential.

Its hard to describe where this song took me. Has a very evil sound to it.
The vocal harmonies were quite cool, and man.. the riffs around 2 minutes melted my face...they were followed by even cooler riffs and vocal section. Goddamn man. You kicked some ass. Well mine anyways.
It would have been cool to have a bit crisper of a distortion, to make your playing not be covered by the muddyness. But I know its what you got, and kick ass with it.

Yeah I was trying to make it a big chorus and was experimenting with two different ways of doing the choruses, then I found that they worked well at the same time, which was pretty cool. I've been wanting to get in some 6/8 style rhythms like the bit at 2:00 for quite a while now so I'll probably do something similar to that again. I've had the riff for that mid-tempo section for a while so I was desperate to get into a song where it fitted in.
I think the problems with the distortion were caused by the downtuning on this one, I've gradually been drifting down to drop C# in this one but I haven't been using heavier gauge strings, the guitars all need setups anyway so that's on the todo list. I'm really aching to get my hands on a bigger amp as soon as I have some money.

Dude,

Your vocal delivery is VERY slayeresque here. The timings, everything. I've always felt that they had a bit of a complex delivery...but very much reminded me of their style. Not tone, your tone is definitely your own. And I quite like it. I'm not a huge fan of Tom's voice anyways.

Excellent job here. I can tell that you put a lot of work into it, so obviously I have no choice but to 5 it.

This really is Gorebastard's song, most of the work was already done, all I had to do was fit some words around the monolithic riffs.

Guitar sounds pretty excellent. But the drums sound kind of blank. Gee, I wonder whose fault that is. Haha. I'll work some more on them. Riffs are pretty sweet.
