goddamn

You don't post enough here. This did have a great drudgy tempo. Your playing fucking rules like hell, bro. Glad to finally see something new from you. I like the sound of your distortion, for some reason it just seems like your "signature". And it doesn't clip, so fuck. Kick ass man.\m/

Damn

I just bought a pod 2.0 to increase my "issues". I still haven't found the tone that I really want out of it, but after all the fucking around...I still can't get a tone this good. So perhaps, I'll return mine and try out the pod x3. It was a little more out of my budget, then.
So anyways, the mix on this is fantastic, and the reason I say that is, I'm at work. We have the shittiest desktop speakers known to man. And this sounds pretty fucking good on them. So kick ass man.

What program are you using to record? Also, any tips you could offer on my quality and tone would be helpful. I'm currently using, Pod2.0, cubase sx3, cool edit pro, and EZDrummer as well. I just can't get this clarity without clipping. :(

Kick ass dude, as usual.

Eternalreich responds:

for this song i used a rythm setting that metaljonus programed for me.

the x3 is cool because it has bass and vocal presets and a XLR input.

i use cubase for the drums and mix it down and use adobe audition to record

with beacause i know it a lot better than cubase.

im sure cubase will give you better quality but i the adobe does the trick.

a good tip for recording guitars is try to use less distortion and quadruple all

rythm tracks. two tracks left and two tracks right. this will beef it up signifigantly

also play around with the panning and see what best suits the song. have a spot

for every instument like, ill do the rythms like i said and have two lead channels

at right 50 and left 50 or L 25 R 25 or L 75 R 75 depending on how many leads or if

there are two or three successive leads switch them up to add depth.

bass sits comfortably in the middle with only one track and disired level i

compress it as well

thats a quick overveiw anyway

thanck for the veiw and keep on rockin

HAIL SATAN

Cool man

Wasn't a huge fan of the drum samples, but the riffing was pretty awesome, as usual. Were those beatcrap drums? You eq'd the fuck out of them.

:40 - 1:35 was pretty cool. As far as it goes man, your riffs and tempos kick some serious ass. The pintches in the riffs and shit from 2:15 3:08, were wicked man. I thought those were my favorite riffs.

Anyways, cool shit man. I can't wait to hear your new stuff.

Eternalreich responds:

yeah i know what you mean

i used way to many cymbal crashes on these old songs

sometimes you get so caught up in the process you dont think of stupid shit like that

thanks for the reviews

The playing is great

Dude, the playing here is great. Sounds like it would be a wicked ass song, all polished. Your line in noise is very annoying though...high pitched. How do you record?
Also, you can download beatcraft for drums. Its free. Just go to acoustica.com.
I would love to hear this without the line in noise, and some drums. As I said the playing was fantastic. \m/

yep

Nice and fucking evil, bro. Fucking wicked riffage. Very crush your fucking skull shit right here. This would sound fucking awesome with lyrics...you got plans for that?//

Right on motherfucker. \m/

Eternalreich responds:

thanks man

as for lyrics i only had some patterns but no lyrics

feel free to try some shit if u want

Damn

Awesome shit, here.
I love the drudgy tempo. Gives a great skull crushing feel. Great tunes, dude.

hmmm

no bad..Everything was pretty clear. The whole song was a bit thin in the mix, but whatever. Kudos, for a full song, vocals etc. Sounds more punkish than metal, but again...thats ok. I gave this a 5 but It only went up a little. Sorry dude.

Doofie84 responds:

Well I do all this stuff cos Im being creative and as long as I get the best out of a mix that I can then Im happy. Considering that all this stuff is recorded in my Room I think its pretty good.
But I know mix could be better, drum machine more varied so its all feedback which is cool and Im learning from it.

Awesome riffage.

Fucking awesome song, really man. The clarity is muddled, but still riffing is awesome as fuck. If you cleaned it up, I'd love to throw some screams on this beast.\m/

hugs-and-kisses responds:

aw dood, i would love that soo much. YEa man, if you sing to one of my tracks that be awesome

i'm currently working on a new track, and i'm gonna tune up my guitar because it caused that muddy sound. I hit you up man.

Not bad.

I actually thought it was really good. It would be nice to hear you really let it rip. Sounds like you had to be quiet for some reason. Otherwise these kicked some ass. So another 5 for you my good fellow.\m/

Bonemill responds:

I did have to be quiet.

I just updated it with new vocals take another listen :). More feeling and all.

Pretty awesome.

Awesome use of synths too. I liked this track. Recordings were pretty damn good actually. Awesome man. Look forward to more.\m/
