BASSSSSSSS LINE!!!

I love the feel and groove of this. Kind of an ominous looming of the build up before the battle..ya know? haha. The bass line was most excellent!
If I were a flash maker, I would use this for sure, man.

I was waiting for the 4 beat pause and the explosion into some insane speedy riffing haha. ah well...still awesome as fuck

Nice

Pretty fuckin awesome attempt. Good chugging rhythm. Everything was played, clean as a whistle. Structure was pretty awesome as well. And the clarity was pretty wicked dude.

Drums had a wicked sound them.
It almost sounds like you structured this to have some vocals.

Awesome shit, man!

Thanks dude! Means a lot coming from a metal mogul (ha) such as yourself.

awesome..

I really liked this rendition of the old scottish thing. Would definitely sound cool with some percussion, and also, I think another lead to harmonize with the one lead, would make it sound absolutely phenominal, man. Anyways, great job, really.

starvingdude responds:

yay more 5's!!!

Great idea about the two lead's, I'll tell John about that.

We were going to make some vocals for the song but at the last edition we said no, because its just to hard and the song is to short.

Thanks for reviewing and clicking on the 5!! :)

wow dude

I especially loved the breakdown parts! haha..fucking ruled man. Nice job on the synths too!\m/

Ah well, nevermind about the score, still probably some retarded 13 year old that can't actually wipe his own ass, let alone making a song :P

Thanks for the vote buddy! It was fun recording again :D

Nice!

Of course, I love the acoustic opening on this. Vaguely reminded me of Pink Floyd, which is cool.

Everything was put together really well, and the song had a great feel to it as well. Nice tune dude.
Kicked ass actually. Too bad it got shit on. Congrats on #2 on the A-bot list as well! It's good to see heavy metal up there in a couple places.

Not bad at all

I thought the playing was pretty good. I gave it a 4, but it only went to a 2. Sadly.
You said this is a rough sample, but some things that can help.

You can download beatcraft from acoustica.com. It is free trial drum programming. Its pretty simple. (The rock and blues kit is the best one to use). It would be really cool to hear this with some drums backin it. Anyways, what do you use to record your guitar? I may be able to offer you some advice there too.

Awesome playing though, for 4 months dude. Can't wait to hear the shit you upload in a year. haha. Rock on, man\m/

Thanks for your vote, Bad-Man-Incorporated! You voted 4 for Desolation and Deviance, raising its score from 0.00 to 2.00.

RaK3 responds:

Well i must say thank you, im downloading the demo of the drum program, and i use My dads CD recorder, i may have it figured out but if you got any hints on leveling the record volume with the actuall guitar volume that would help

Dark..

Yeah, I like the drone this has, quite a bit. Cool stuff man!\m/

RedHotPoker responds:

lol....drone.

haha

shithead! So as a good citizen of NG, I try to review the two adverts above mine in the advertisement thread. And low and behold, here's a name that I haven't seen in a while.

Good to see ya round, motherfucker. Cool laugh, sounds like a crazy dude I work with. haha.

Didn't really know how to fill in the "diversity, effort" bullshit...but I do know..5's for FlameMesial.

haha

You really like your intros. hahaha. Great shit man. What drums were those???? cool ass motherfucker!\m/

jdh504 responds:

Haha, what can I say, I just can't make a song unless the intros at least 1 minute long. I used the same drum program, but I might've used some different drums from it though, I've been trying to change up the drums in my songs some, so I'm glad someone noticed that. Thanks for the review man.
