Kick ass my friend.

Thanks for your vote, Bad-Man-Incorporated! You voted 5 for Into The Catacomb, raising its score from 4.75 to 4.80.

Here's my take.

When I listen to a song, its like a story. You can kinda tell what the next line it gonna be, just because thats what has to happen. Crappy writers don't do that. And its incredibly unsatisfying.

Every element of this song went to, exactly the place it sounded like it should have went. And not that it was predictible, but it was perfectly executed, and made listening to it, a pleasure. If that makes sense. Can't wait to hear more.

This was pretty cool. I liked the sludgy as fuck riffs. My style. Everything sounded pretty good. The mechanical snare rolls actually sounded quite good. Nice one man!

Cool man

Nice first entry. I was really reminded of ZZ top here...same style, similar drums...even the tone was close. The lead was even similar to me.
Don't be insulted by the ZZ top comparison...I loved ZZ top back in the day..Legendary haha!
Nice man. Great job!\m/

Kamikaze99 responds:

Actually, i'm not insulted by the comparison of ZZ top. Although I have never heard his music, I think he's pretty cool. And thanks for the 10! Its sort of a drawback that I don't have any software to make or submit flash animations, but my music is good. Thanks!

Yeah!!

This was only a test track btw. I've got a few more coming from the bag.

Currently I have a Zoom G2.1u and an Aria pro XL. Haven't put the dimebuckers in yet, but it will be killer after I do that. :D

Anywho, thnks for the review mate ;)

man, excellent...

Yeah, I really liked the whole song overall. Some fantastic riffing. Everything was mixed well. I liked the background vocal ambience too.

I read the way you record, I record the same way.
What kind of pedal are you using...cause I get the same fuzz...unless I use internal distortion.
(guitarfx3)
Anyways, awesome shit dude. You play very well. I really liked the string accompanyment too.

Great job man\m/

Zakimations responds:

Thanks for the awesome review.

I'm using a Digitech Metal Master. Personally I think its too fuzzy and incoherent but what are you going to do.

Good song man..

sounded pretty decent...were those the fruity loop standard drums? I also use FL for sequencing my drums. I just import samples from DFH, or others...if you would like, I could give you some nice samples. You can add me to msn messenger

bad-man-inc@hotmail.com.

Otherwise, riffage was quite good, awesome shit man.

OrphanShadow responds:

Well, the drums are mixed...hi-hat and snare from the vintage pack, and bass drums imported from Drumkit from hell.
Im okay for samples, as im in the process of live-sampling a drumkit. but hey, thanks anyway, cheers for the review, and the msn

hrmm

I think I like this version better. I can hear the words better...and the song is less cluttered?
Anyways, as usual..awesome stuff man.
