The instruments sound like they are coming from an orchestra pit, while the film or play, plays out.... All the while, the audience finding themselves watching the orchestra itself, rather than the show. haha.
Anyways man, yeah. Instruments were very realistic sounding. Everything was put together very well.

Yeah I'm rapidly losing my patience with the distortion pedal I've been using. I didn't spend much time in the recording trying to tweak it to sound less fuzzy and horrible, as I was eager to get something recorded quickly. Some new distortion is already on my list of 'things to buy when I have money' :D

Well damn...long time! Glad to see some shit by you (not poo) haha. Anyways man, you did a great job on this. I've always been a fan of the tone of your voice. haha, and you did a pretty awesome job. Drums sound superb too. Really like the sound of your KICK. With a bit of reverb on your snare, that would sound nice and snappy.
Otherwise man, I really liked this version. Good choice of tunes to cover, as well.

Yeah it's been a while since I stuck anything on here as I've been busy at uni and I haven't had much chance to record stuff. The drums are courtesy of my long-suffering Boss DR-3, you can get some pretty good sounds on it and there's a lot of little workarounds and tricks I've discovered on it to allow long, complicated structures like what this song needed. Adding some reverb to the snare would definitely help but with the DR-3 I'm not sure how I could go about doing that, but I'll definitely look into it. It seems taking singing lessons is starting to pay off now, and singing all this crap is a lot easier and more fun :D
I'm going to try and get round to recording something which isn't a cover or a remix soon, and it'll no doubt find it's way onto here. Thanks for the review!
