Dude.

This is fucking sad as fuck. Maybe it wasn't the best quality, or the singing that great....but it just made me think of some poor fucker, no job, no money, no family, no hope. Sitting in his box, listening to this scratched up record on an old phonograph. Doesn't even really know what the song is anymore...but never even cared.
In essence, this is goddamn perfect. It made me fucking depressed...and not because of the "shittiness" as others have said....if you know what I mean.

I actually liked this version better than your other ones, cause it just had the vibe of depression and sadness. Truly man.

At 1:19 it kinda took away from the effect. If you faded out to there...or let it loop at 1:18, this would be the saddest fucking song ever.

I'm gonna go blow my brains out now.

This review had alot of influence on me - and if possible i'm going to try and do my best to use a voice changer in the final version while still having people able to understand the lyrics. I'll take everything you said to heart and do my best to put it in the final version.

So do you not like the synthesized version of this song? If you could PM me with some more detail I would really appreciate it seeing as I want to make this song as perfect as possible.

The untuned guitars give a really evil feel, because they aren't bad enough that chords don't sound like chords. It kind of sounds intentional. And nobody smiles at evil, more than I do.

Dude, there are so many aspects to this song that just blow my mind. Everything was really well produced, and awesomely written. Your transitions into the different styles, were superior. I'm sure experimenting with time signatures helps ease transitions etc.
As said before, the drum programming was pretty intense, and helps with the whole "feel" of the song. Really excellent complexity there. I wonder, what are your steps to writing something like this. Do you bang out the riffs, then program the drums? Or start with a simple beat and program the drums to have more complexity as the riffs change?
Man, just purely in awe of the way you blended shit, so nicely.

Love the leads and melody that you ended the song on. Great tune man.

I spent a very long time to writte this piece and I hope it shows ^^. Atcually, in this song there is not a lot of weird time sigs ... maybe one ... in 1/8 (1:21 and 1:35 ) lmao.

And, again, it took me ages to make the perfect drum track haha. And I love Addictive Drums.

About the composition steps, indeed, I compose a riff then I make a drum riff, I play the guitar riff with the drum riff and if it sounds good, I keep it ... etc.

You did a kick ass job, man. Awesome. I'm glad you didn't overdub the vocals like on the original. I like the single voice much better.
And of course you slayed the screaming bits.
Sounds like you could let loose a bit more with the clean vocals, but whatever man, you still kicked ass with this.

Dude, I had to sing this damn song 15 times to get that one decent take.
I am not a very good singer, but I wanted to try something besides the ridiculous falsetto, and this seemed like a good way to do it.
It took 14 takes to make me realize that I should stick to screaming.
Then the 15th one turned out tolerably, and all was well.
I'm going to try to get my dad to give me some vocal lessons someday, though.
Maybe eventually I'll suck less, lawl.
